Transmitter Solutions RECTSHIVE300311 300/310 MHz Receiver Compatibility Details
The Transmitter Solutions RECTSHIVE300311 catalog SKU is supplied as a HIVE 300/310 MHz, 2-channel DIP switch receiver. The supplied frequency, transmitter compatibility, DIP switch formats, and 2-channel description align with the current Transmitter Solutions HIVE300310 receiver family.
Current public Transmitter Solutions documentation publishes the manufacturer part number as HIVE300310 and does not separately identify RECTSHIVE300311 as an alternate part number. Exact public manufacturer mapping could not be fully confirmed. Preserve the RECTSHIVE300311 catalog SKU, but verify the physical receiver label when an exact replacement part number is required.
What the HIVE 300/310 Receiver Does
The documented HIVE300310 receiver is a 2-channel fixed-code radio receiver that can be configured for compatible 300 MHz or 310 MHz DIP switch transmitter systems. Internal S1 and S2 jumpers select the supported radio format, while separate SW1 and SW2 DIP switch banks set the code for Relay 1 and Relay 2.
The receiver provides control relay outputs for compatible gate, garage door, and other control inputs. It does not replace required photo eyes, monitored safety edges, entrapment protection, garage door reversal systems, emergency access, or other operator safety circuits.
All Verified Radio Compatibility
- MultiCode 300 MHz transmitters using 10 DIP switches.
- Linear 310 MHz transmitters using 8 DIP switches.
- Stanley 310 MHz transmitters using 10 DIP switches.
The current HIVE300310 product page specifically lists compatibility with MultiCode, Linear, and Stanley systems. The official receiver manual further defines the exact frequency and DIP switch format required for each transmitter family.
Do not select a transmitter by frequency alone. The receiver jumper setting, DIP switch count, and transmitter coding family must all match.
300 MHz MultiCode Compatibility
The official HIVE 300/310 receiver manual states that the 300 MHz configuration is compatible with all MultiCode transmitters using 10 DIP switches and operating at 300 MHz.
For this configuration:
- Frequency - 300 MHz.
- Transmitter family - MultiCode.
- DIP switch count - 10.
- S1 jumper - Installed.
- S2 jumper - Installed.
Match the required receiver DIP switch code to the compatible MultiCode transmitter code before testing the control output.
310 MHz Linear Compatibility
The official manufacturer manual states that the 310 MHz configuration is compatible with Linear transmitters using 8 DIP switches and operating at 310 MHz.
For this configuration:
- Frequency - 310 MHz.
- Transmitter family - Linear.
- DIP switch count - 8.
- S1 jumper - Removed.
- S2 jumper - Removed.
This documented 310 MHz Linear system should not be confused with 318 MHz Linear MegaCode. MegaCode uses a different radio protocol and is not an automatic match for this fixed-code 310 MHz receiver.
310 MHz Stanley Compatibility
The official HIVE 300/310 manual also documents compatibility with Stanley transmitters using 10 DIP switches and operating at 310 MHz.
For this configuration:
- Frequency - 310 MHz.
- Transmitter family - Stanley.
- DIP switch count - 10.
- S1 jumper - Removed.
- S2 jumper - Installed.
The current product page generally lists Stanley compatibility, while the manual provides the specific 310 MHz, 10-DIP format and jumper arrangement.
Separate SW1 and SW2 Code Banks
The official receiver manual identifies two independent DIP switch code banks:
- SW1 controls Relay 1.
- SW2 controls Relay 2.
This allows the two receiver channels to use the required fixed-code settings for their respective relay commands. A problem where one channel operates and the other does not may be caused by a mismatched SW1 or SW2 code, transmitter button configuration, jumper arrangement, or relay wiring rather than a failed receiver.
Two Relay Output Configuration
The manufacturer wiring diagram shows Relay 1 and Relay 2. For standard gate and door applications, the manual recommends connecting the operator open input to the Common and Normally Open contact of Relay 1, Relay 2, or both when the connected equipment is designed for that control input.
The published wiring diagram shows the following relay functions:
- Relay 1 - Normally Open, Common, and Normally Closed connections.
- Relay 2 - Normally Open, Common, and Normally Closed connections.
Verify the physical harness and receiver markings before using a Normally Closed output. The manufacturer wiring figure repeats the Blue/White wire-color text on the final Relay 2 connections, so do not identify the NC 2 wire by printed color alone without checking the actual supplied harness.
9-Pin Color-Coded Wiring Harness
The official HIVE 300/310 receiver wiring diagram identifies these harness functions:
- Red - V+ 12/24 VAC/DC.
- Black - Not used.
- Green - GND V-.
- Yellow - NO 1.
- Blue - Common 1.
- Green/White - NC 1.
- Yellow/White - NO 2.
- Blue/White - Common 2 per printed diagram.
- NC 2 - Final Relay 2 harness position; verify actual wire identification because the manufacturer diagram repeats Blue/White.
Do not transfer wiring from another receiver by wire color or 9-pin position alone. Confirm power, ground, Common, NO, and NC functions before installation.
12-24 VAC/DC Auto-Detecting Power
The HIVE 300/310 receiver automatically detects input voltage between 12V and 24V, AC or DC. Manufacturer specifications list 32 mA consumption with the relay not active and 70 mA with a relay active.
Verify the available low-voltage control power before connecting the receiver. Unknown voltage, transformer failures, battery charging faults, damaged wiring, or internal operator electrical problems should be checked by a qualified gate, garage, low-voltage, access control, or electrical technician.
Fixed-Code Receiver With No User Memory
The manufacturer documentation does not list 44-user, 85-user, or 1000-user transmitter memory for HIVE300310. This receiver uses fixed-code DIP switch matching rather than learn-button transmitter enrollment.
Multiple compatible transmitters can use the matching DIP switch code without being individually stored in a numbered receiver memory position. This is a different access-management method from rolling-code or individually enrolled receiver systems.
Coax Antenna and Wiring Harness
The current HIVE300310 manufacturer product page lists a coax antenna and wiring harness with the receiver. The official manual also identifies the coax antenna as provided and instructs the installer to attach it to the antenna mount on the receiver housing.
A handheld transmitter and separate power supply are not identified as included. Confirm compatible MultiCode, Linear, or Stanley transmitters separately when remotes are also required.
Receiver Mounting and Range Checks
The manufacturer manual allows the receiver to be mounted using the housing mounting holes or suitable industrial-strength hook-and-loop mounting material. Install the receiver in a safe location away from equipment that may create radio interference, including electric motors.
After installation, test operation from different areas around the site. When range is poor, inspect the coax antenna, antenna connection, receiver location, nearby metal, and radio interference before assuming the receiver electronics have failed.
RECTSHIVE300311 and HIVE300310 Part Number Note
The current Transmitter Solutions product page publishes HIVE300310 as the standard 2-channel 300/310 MHz DIP switch receiver. Current public manufacturer documentation does not separately publish RECTSHIVE300311.
The supplied RECTSHIVE300311 description matches the documented HIVE300310 specifications for 2 channels, 300 MHz MultiCode compatibility, 310 MHz Linear compatibility, and the required 10-DIP and 8-DIP formats. However, exact public SKU mapping could not be fully confirmed.
Before treating HIVE300310 as an exact replacement for a receiver specifically labeled RECTSHIVE300311, compare the physical part label, frequency jumpers, SW1 and SW2 banks, 9-pin harness, relay arrangement, and housing.
Similar HIVE Receivers Are Not Automatically Interchangeable
- HIVE300310TH: Related 2-channel 300/310 MHz receiver with a separately published 1 to 60 second time-hold feature. Do not assume the standard HIVE300310 has the same adjustable hold function.
- 300310GDO: A 1-channel GDO receiver with a 3-prong operator connection. It is not the same 2-channel harness-style receiver.
- HIVE318WSA: A 318 MHz programmable receiver specifically documented for Linear MegaCode transmitters. It is not compatible based on the Linear name alone.
- HIVE433DIP: A separate 433 MHz 10-DIP switch receiver. DIP switch coding does not make the operating frequency interchangeable.
- Rolling-code receivers: HIVE300310 uses fixed-code DIP switch matching and should not be confused with KeeLoq, Security+, Security+ 2.0, Intellicode, or other rolling-code systems.

Installation and Service Notes
Set the S1 and S2 jumpers for the correct transmitter family before matching the SW1 and SW2 DIP switch codes. A 300 MHz MultiCode configuration will not automatically operate a 310 MHz Linear or Stanley transmitter.
For most standard gate and garage door applications, the manufacturer documents using Common and Normally Open relay contacts to the compatible operator open input. Verify the connected equipment wiring diagram before making the control connection.
When troubleshooting poor range, inspect the coax antenna, antenna connection, receiver location, nearby electric motors, metal obstructions, and radio interference before assuming the receiver has failed.
Do not bypass photo eyes, monitored safety edges, entrapment protection, emergency access, fire access, garage door safety sensors, reversal systems, wall-control safety functions, or operator safety circuits when installing or testing this receiver.
Professional Advisory
If the transmitter frequency, DIP switch count, jumper configuration, relay wiring, harness identification, or control voltage cannot be positively identified, have a qualified gate, garage, low-voltage, or access control technician inspect the system. Unknown mains-voltage or high-current loads should be reviewed by a qualified electrical technician.
