AWID CS-UHF-0-0 UHF Clamshell Badge with AWID Logo - 50 Pack
The AWID CS-UHF-0-0 clamshell badge is a hand-held UHF credential for AWID long-range and near-field UHF reader systems. It is used at gated communities, parking facilities, commercial properties, industrial entrances and controlled building access points where a single UHF credential may be used for both vehicle and pedestrian access.
A UHF clamshell badge is more rugged than a thin printable card, but it is still a programmed access credential. The reader must support AWID UHF technology, and the access-control system must recognize the credential format and number range. If the site uses 125 kHz proximity, HID prox, smart card, barcode, or another technology, this UHF credential will not be a direct substitute.
Compatible With
Use with select AWID UHF readers and systems when the frequency version and credential programming are confirmed.
- AWID uAxcess UHF credential family when ordered in the correct format
- AWID LR-2000, LR-2200, LR-3000 and related long-range UHF reader systems when the credential and reader frequency version match
- AWID HiLo long-range and near-field UHF installations where the same UHF credentials are used for vehicle gates and pedestrian doors
- Access-control panels accepting Wiegand data from compatible AWID UHF readers
- Parking facilities, gated communities, perimeter gates, building entries and mixed vehicle/pedestrian access sites using AWID UHF credentials
- AWID UA-612, LR-2000 and LR-3000 UHF reader applications where this credential format is supported
- Hand-held vehicle gate access and pedestrian door access using the same UHF credential family

Also Known As / Related Part Numbers
These related UHF credential numbers are commonly searched with CS-UHF-0-0. They are related credential styles, not automatic one-for-one replacements.
Technician Note
For a mixed vehicle and pedestrian site, keep credential technology consistent. A clamshell UHF card may work well for gate presentation, but the pedestrian reader must also be an AWID UHF reader if the same credential is expected to work at the door.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the installed readers are AWID UHF readers.
- Match the region/frequency version, credential format, facility code and starting number.
- Confirm whether the site uses clamshell, graphics-quality, key tag, windshield tag or metal-mount credentials.
- Verify the quantity and programming details before ordering a 50 pack.
- Check whether the access-control software requires the credentials to be imported, enrolled or manually entered.
Important Ordering Warnings
Do not substitute CS-UHF-0-0 for AWID 125 kHz proximity cards or key tags. UHF and low-frequency proximity credentials are different technologies.
Professional Advisory
For new reader wiring, panel programming, access-control database changes, or uncertain site conditions, use a qualified access-control or gate technician. Do not bypass security controls or safety equipment to make a credential or reader appear to work.
Product Questions & Answers
What type of reader is needed for CS-UHF-0-0?
It is used with compatible AWID UHF readers, including select AWID long-range and uAxcess reader systems when the format and frequency version match.
Is this a printable photo ID card?
No. It is a clamshell-style badge. For a thinner graphics-quality printable UHF card, review the GR-UHF-0-0 credential family.
Does this card need a battery?
No. It is a passive credential and does not require battery replacement.
Can it be used for both gates and doors?
Yes, when both the gate reader and door reader are compatible AWID UHF readers and the access-control system is programmed for the credential.
Why do UHF card read ranges vary?
Reader model, reader power/setup, mounting, credential orientation, nearby metal, vehicle glass, and site layout all affect practical read range.
