AWID KT-UHF-0-0 UHF Key Tag Fob with AWID Logo - 50 Pack
The AWID KT-UHF-0-0 is the key-ring form factor in AWIDs UHF credential family. It gives users a smaller credential than a card while still supporting AWID UHF reader applications. It is commonly used where drivers or pedestrians want to carry one access credential on a key ring for gates and doors.
The practical fitment question is not just the shape of the tag. The site must use compatible AWID UHF readers, and the tag numbers must be accepted by the access-control panel. If a property currently uses AWID 125 kHz key fobs, HID prox fobs, or smart credentials, this UHF tag is not a direct replacement without system review.
Compatible With
Use with select AWID UHF reader systems when the credential is programmed for the site.
- AWID uAxcess UHF credential family when ordered in the correct format
- AWID LR-2000, LR-2200, LR-3000 and related long-range UHF reader systems when the credential and reader frequency version match
- AWID HiLo long-range and near-field UHF installations where the same UHF credentials are used for vehicle gates and pedestrian doors
- Access-control panels accepting Wiegand data from compatible AWID UHF readers
- Parking facilities, gated communities, perimeter gates, building entries and mixed vehicle/pedestrian access sites using AWID UHF credentials
- AWID LR-2000, LR-2200, LR-3000 and related UHF reader systems where key-tag credentials are supported
- AWID near-field UHF readers such as XP-3620, XK-3640, XR-3600 and XM-700 when credential type and programming match
- Key-ring credential applications for residents, employees, vendors, amenity users and property staff

Technician Note
KT-UHF tags can be convenient for users, but key position, tag orientation, nearby metal keys and how the user presents the tag can affect read performance. Train users on proper presentation at the reader.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the site uses AWID UHF readers, not AWID 125 kHz proximity readers.
- Match the credential format, facility code and numbering range.
- Verify whether the site prefers key tags, cards, windshield tags or metal-mount tags.
- Confirm the reader model and expected read distance.
- Enter or import the credentials into the access-control software before issuing them.
Important Ordering Warnings
KT-UHF-0-0 and KT-G-0 are different credential technologies. Do not substitute one for the other based only on the key-fob form factor.
Professional Advisory
For new reader wiring, panel programming, access-control database changes, or uncertain site conditions, use a qualified access-control or gate technician. Do not bypass security controls or safety equipment to make a credential or reader appear to work.
Product Questions & Answers
Is KT-UHF-0-0 the same as KT-G-0?
No. KT-UHF-0-0 is an AWID UHF key tag. KT-G-0 is an AWID 125 kHz proximity key tag.
Can this be used at both a gate and a door?
Yes, when both locations use compatible AWID UHF readers and the access-control system is programmed for the tag.
Does the key tag need a battery?
No. It is a passive UHF credential and does not require battery replacement.
Why would a UHF key tag read poorly?
Reader model, tag orientation, metal keys, body position, mounting location, reader setup and site interference can all affect UHF read performance.
What details are needed for a programmed batch?
The access-control provider typically needs the credential format, facility/site code, starting number, quantity and any site-specific numbering requirements.
