The board assembly was defective. The lever which rotates to actuate the micro switch pops out of the mounting hole and does not actuate the switch. Looks like the retainer clip or button on the backside of the circuit board is missing to keep the lever in place. It took me several photos and hours of discussions with the technical people at GTO to explain what the problem was. Still working on getting a replacement part. |

I’ve had these gate openers over ten years. This the first time I’ve had trouble with the operator. Tech service helped. When I opened the operator it has lots of water in it. Dryed it out, installed the rev board work great. Put sealent around all the seams. |

I have two GTO 2002 XLS arms, one with a blown rev counter. Tech support insists there is only one replacement, and it comes in a box labeled R4192A1. However, the circuit board, copyright 2014, has a printed code E334023 on it. The working board is from 2013 and has R4192A1 printed on it. They are NOT equivalent. I have the arm in my lap, swap in the old one and it works, and put in the new one and it doesn't. They look very similar to one another but there are functional differences between the boards.
After two iterations there is still no resolution to this issue. |

Work great door is working again!!! The rubber band under the leg which activate the switch
Is great! It avoids the leg popping out of position. I would like this leg in metal because when it popped out of position it broke because it's made of plastic. |
