EMX CARSENSE303 MAGNETORESISTIVE VEHICLE DETECTOR - MODULE ONLY
The EMX CarSense 303 control unit is the plug-in brain of the CarSense 303 / LRS vehicle detection system. It works with a compatible magnetoresistive sensor placed near, under, or beside the vehicle path. The sensor measures disturbances in the earths magnetic field caused by ferrous vehicles, while the control unit processes that signal and provides an output to the gate operator, barrier gate, overhead door controller, or access-control system.
This module-only item is useful when the field sensor, lead, and installation location are already correct but the control unit is missing, damaged, or being replaced. It is also used when installers are assembling a system from separate CarSense 303 components, such as a CS303-C1 controller with a CS303-DB direct-burial probe or CS303-FP flat-pack sensor.
The CarSense 303 family is often used as a loop replacement or compact vehicle detector where a full inductive loop is difficult to install.
