HySecurity MX001912, MOTOR,60HZ,2HP,1PH KIT
The HySecurity MX001912 is a replacement 2HP, 60Hz, single-phase electric motor kit for select HySecurity and Nice HySecurity hydraulic gate operator systems. It is commonly listed as MOTOR, 60HZ, 2HP, 1PH KIT and as a 208/230VAC, 3450 RPM electric motor.
This motor is part of the electric-to-hydraulic drive system used in compatible HySecurity operators. In a hydraulic gate operator, the electric motor drives the hydraulic pump so the pump pack can build pressure and move hydraulic fluid through the valves, hoses, manifolds, and hydraulic drive components. When the motor is weak, overheated, electrically failed, or not receiving proper voltage, the operator may fail to build pressure or may struggle to move the gate under load.
Current listings commonly identify MX001912 as a Leeson 2HP electric motor. Some listings show fitment references for SlideDriver, SwingRiser, HydraLift, and HydraWedge applications, but the motor should always be selected by the operator parts diagram and the motor nameplate. Do not order by horsepower alone.
What This Motor Kit Does
The MX001912 electric motor provides the rotation needed to drive the hydraulic pump in compatible HySecurity hydraulic operators. The hydraulic pump then supplies the pressure and flow needed for the operator to move the gate, lift assembly, swing panel, or hydraulic drive system depending on the operator family.
This is the electric motor kit only unless the current package specifically includes additional parts. It is not a complete pump pack, hydraulic motor, hose kit, controller board, capacitor kit, brake manifold, soft-start kit, or full operator rebuild kit. Replacing the motor can correct a failed motor, but it will not repair a seized pump, damaged motor coupler, bad capacitor, incorrect voltage, worn pump pack, leaking hydraulic hose, contaminated fluid, or a gate that is dragging or binding.
Compatible With
The HySecurity MX001912 is intended for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity hydraulic operator applications that require a 2HP, 60Hz, single-phase, 208/230VAC electric motor. Compatibility depends on the exact operator model, serial number, motor brand, motor nameplate, voltage, phase, RPM, shaft/coupler arrangement, pump pack layout, and current HySecurity parts documentation.

- Repairing low hydraulic pressure caused by pump wear, leaking hoses, relief valve issues, contaminated fluid, or gate drag without diagnosis
Important Compatibility Warning
MX001912 should be selected by the HySecurity parts diagram and motor nameplate, not by horsepower alone. A 2HP single-phase motor from another source may not match the pump shaft, coupler, mounting, RPM, start circuit, voltage, or duty requirements of the HySecurity operator.
If the motor failed, check the cause before installing the replacement. A seized pump, damaged coupler, bad capacitor, incorrect voltage, poor wiring connection, water intrusion, overloaded gate, or dragging gate can damage a replacement motor quickly.

Technician Note
A single-phase motor that hums, trips, overheats, or will not start should not be replaced until the start circuit and load have been checked. Inspect the start capacitor, run capacitor, start switch, contactor, relay, incoming voltage, wiring terminals, motor windings, and mechanical load before replacing the motor.
If the motor runs but the operator does not build hydraulic pressure or move the gate, inspect the motor-to-pump coupler, hydraulic pump, fluid level, relief valve, hoses, quick disconnects, and pump pack. A seized pump, stripped coupler, or dragging gate can damage a new motor quickly.

Installation and Service Notes
Disconnect operator power and secure the gate before servicing the motor or pump pack. This motor may be connected to 208/230VAC single-phase power, and the start circuit may contain capacitors. Label wiring before removal and compare the replacement motor to the original motor nameplate before installation.
Inspect the motor-to-pump coupler, pump shaft, motor shaft, and mounting alignment before installing the replacement motor. After installation, verify proper motor rotation, normal hydraulic pressure response, smooth gate movement, no unusual noise, and no overheating. If the motor hums, labors, overheats, or trips protection, stop and diagnose the pump, capacitors, wiring, voltage, and gate load.
Professional Advisory
Replacing a 2HP single-phase motor in a hydraulic gate operator can involve line voltage, capacitor circuits, moving gate parts, hydraulic pressure, rotating shafts, and sensitive controller electronics. A qualified HySecurity gate technician or electrician should handle the repair when the operator has repeated motor failures, start-circuit issues, hydraulic pressure problems, or unknown prior repairs.
Do not bypass fuses, contactors, relays, start switches, capacitors, controller protections, monitored entrapment protection, photo eyes, safety edges, limits, or disconnects to make the motor run. The motor and hydraulic system should be repaired correctly and fully tested before the gate is returned to service.
