HySecurity MX4329-03, SENSOR, HE W/ HARNESS, 700L
HySecurity MX4329-03 is a Hall effect sensor with harness for select HySecurity SwingSmart CNX / 700L gate operator applications. Current listings identify this part as "SENSOR, HE W/ HARNESS, CNX 700" and "Hall Effect Sensor w/ Harness."
A Hall effect sensor is used for magnetic position detection in the operator system. It works with the proper magnetic target and controller input so the operator can monitor position or travel reference where the system is designed for it. Because sensor fitment depends on operator generation, harness style, sensor location, and magnet arrangement, MX4329-03 should be ordered only where the HySecurity parts diagram confirms this part number.
What This Hall Effect Sensor Does
The Hall effect sensor detects a magnetic field from the correct target magnet as the operator moves through its travel. This position feedback helps the control system recognize movement or target reference points used during setup and normal operation.
A failed, damaged, misaligned, disconnected, or incorrect Hall effect sensor can contribute to target detection problems, position feedback issues, travel setup problems, limit-learning errors, or inconsistent gate movement. Similar symptoms can also be caused by a missing or damaged target magnet, incorrect magnet alignment, harness damage, loose connectors, controller input issues, incorrect setup, gearbox problems, arm movement issues, or gate binding.
Compatible With
Use HySecurity MX4329-03 only where the operator parts diagram, original sensor label, or HySecurity documentation confirms this part number.
- Select HySecurity SwingSmart CNX applications where MX4329-03 is listed as the Hall effect sensor with harness.
- Select HySecurity CNX 700 / 700L applications where the parts diagram confirms MX4329-03.

Important Compatibility Warning
Do not order MX4329-03 based only on the words "Hall effect sensor" or "sensor with harness." HySecurity operators can use different target sensors, Hall effect sensors, magnet targets, harness lengths, and controller connections depending on model and generation.
The user-provided description references 700L, while current listings also use CNX 700 and SwingSmart CNX wording. Verify the exact operator model, serial number, parts diagram, harness connector, and sensor location before ordering.

Related Parts and Accessories
The correct related parts depend on the operator model, sensing system, magnet target, and reason for replacement. Inspect the full target/sensor area before ordering only the Hall effect sensor.
- MX4265 target magnet - related magnetic target, not the same as the sensor.
- Sensor mounting hardware - verify whether included or reused from the original installation.
- Wire harness routing clips or ties - inspect if the harness was damaged by movement or abrasion.
- Controller or SmartCNX board - may report sensor/target faults but should not be replaced before checking the sensor and magnet.
- Gearbox, arm, and drive components - inspect if position faults are caused by mechanical movement issues.
- External photo eyes and safety edges - separate required safety devices, not the same as this Hall effect position sensor.
Technician Note
Before replacing MX4329-03, inspect the target magnet, sensor face, harness connector, wiring route, sensor mounting location, and controller input. A Hall effect sensor fault can be caused by a missing magnet, cracked magnet, incorrect magnet spacing, loose sensor bracket, damaged harness, corroded connector, controller setup issue, or mechanical travel problem.
If the operator is showing a target, position, or learn-limit issue, do not assume the sensor is the only failed part. Verify that the magnet passes the sensor correctly, the harness is not pinched or cut, the controller input is reading correctly, and the gate is moving smoothly through the expected travel.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- The required part number is MX4329-03.
- The operator parts diagram lists MX4329-03 for the installed operator.
- The operator is a compatible SwingSmart CNX / 700L application where the parts diagram confirms fitment.
- The repair requires the Hall effect sensor with harness, not the target magnet, controller, limit switch, reset switch, or harness-only repair.
- The harness connector, cable length, mounting location, and sensor orientation match the original installation.
- The target magnet is present, properly mounted, and aligned with the sensor.
- The issue is not being caused by mechanical travel problems, controller setup, damaged wiring, or gate binding.
- The package includes the expected sensor and harness, and any mounting hardware requirements are understood.
Installation and Service Notes
- Turn off and secure operator power before servicing the sensor or harness.
- Do not pinch, cut, stretch, or route the harness where moving parts can damage it.
- Install the sensor only in the location and orientation specified by the parts diagram or service procedure.
- Confirm that the target magnet passes the sensor at the correct point in travel.
- Do not bypass target sensing, limits, reset circuits, or controller protections to keep the operator running.
- After installation, verify sensor detection, travel setup, limit learning, normal operation, and all required safety devices.
- If the operator will not learn limits after replacement, inspect the magnet target, wiring, controller input, and mechanical movement before replacing additional parts.
Professional Advisory
A qualified gate technician is recommended if the operator is not detecting the Hall effect sensor, will not learn limits, has target or position faults, has damaged wiring, or has unknown prior modifications. Do not bypass photo eyes, safety edges, inherent entrapment protection, target sensing, limit controls, reset circuits, controller protections, or any required safety device during testing.
