HySecurity MX3614, Pump Pack, 4.0 GPM, M30/M50, 12 - 18 ft
The HySecurity MX3614 is a 4.0 GPM pump pack for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity StrongArm M30 and StrongArm M50 barrier arm applications with 12-18 ft clear openings. This pump pack is commonly listed for powered StrongArm M30/M50 systems and should be matched to the exact operator configuration before ordering.
Public product information identifies MX3614 as a 60Hz pump pack that ships with two 3/8 inch hoses, 1/4 inch quick disconnects for older M30/M50 systems, and a motor coupler. Because hydraulic pump packs are configuration-specific, the clear opening, flow rate, hose style, coupler, hydraulic circuit, motor arrangement, and parts diagram should all be verified before replacement.
What This Pump Pack Does
The MX3614 pump pack provides hydraulic flow for compatible StrongArm M30/M50 barrier arm systems. In a properly operating hydraulic barrier, the pump pack works with the motor, manifold, valves, reservoir, hoses, fittings, cylinder assembly, and arm hardware to raise and lower the barrier arm in a controlled manner.
The 4.0 GPM flow rating and 12-18 ft clear-opening designation are important. Shorter StrongArm M30/M50 barrier arms require the correct hydraulic configuration so the arm operates at the intended speed and control behavior. Installing the wrong pump pack can affect arm movement, hydraulic pressure behavior, cycle performance, and long-term reliability.
Compatible With
This pump pack may be used with the following applications where the current HySecurity parts diagram confirms MX3614:
- Select HySecurity StrongArm M30 barrier arm applications with 12-18 ft clear openings
- Select HySecurity StrongArm M50 barrier arm applications with 12-18 ft clear openings
- Powered StrongArm M30/M50 hydraulic panel repairs where the parts diagram lists MX3614
- Repairs where the original pump pack is marked, listed, or cross-referenced as MX3614
- Applications requiring a 4.0 GPM, 60Hz pump pack with matching hoses, quick disconnects, and motor coupler configuration
- Older M30/M50 installations where the included 3/8 inch hoses and 1/4 inch quick disconnects match the service requirement
Important: Do not assume MX3614 fits every StrongArm M30/M50 unit. This part is associated with 12-18 ft powered M30/M50 applications. Longer clear openings, no-power NP models, biodegradable-fluid systems, and other StrongArm families may use different pump packs.
Similar Parts That Are Not Interchangeable
StrongArm M30/M50 pump packs are configuration-specific. Clear opening, flow rate, 60Hz power configuration, hydraulic fluid type, hose ends, quick disconnects, motor coupler, pump arrangement, and manifold connection all matter.

Important Compatibility Warning
The MX3614 pump pack is tied to StrongArm M30/M50 applications with 12-18 ft clear openings. Do not select this pump pack based only on the StrongArm model name. The clear opening, powered versus no-power configuration, hydraulic fluid type, pump flow rate, hose style, quick disconnects, motor coupler, manifold, and hydraulic circuit must match.
If the barrier arm is slow, weak, noisy, leaking, drifting, or not moving, do not assume the pump pack is the only failed part. Check the motor, motor coupler, reservoir, hydraulic fluid, hoses, fittings, manifold, brake valve, relief valve, flow controls, cylinder assembly, pins, bearings, and arm hardware before replacing the pump pack.

Technician Note
Before replacing the MX3614 pump pack, inspect the complete StrongArm M30/M50 hydraulic system. A slow, weak, noisy, or non-moving barrier arm can be caused by pump wear, but it can also be caused by low hydraulic fluid, contaminated fluid, air in the system, hose restrictions, leaking fittings, valve issues, a damaged motor coupler, motor problems, cylinder bypass, or mechanical binding in the arm assembly.
Clear opening matters. This pump pack is associated with 12-18 ft applications. If the barrier is a longer 20-24 ft M30/M50, an NP no-power configuration, or a biodegradable-fluid configuration, the correct pump pack may be different.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- The original or required part number is MX3614.
- The operator is a HySecurity StrongArm M30 or StrongArm M50 application.
- The clear opening is 12-18 ft.
- The application is the powered M30/M50 pump pack configuration, not an NP no-power hydraulic panel.
- The current HySecurity parts diagram lists MX3614 for the pump pack position.
- The included 3/8 inch hoses, 1/4 inch quick disconnects, and motor coupler match the service requirement.
- The motor, coupler, manifold, reservoir, hoses, fittings, valves, cylinder, and hydraulic fluid match the original configuration.
- The issue is not caused by low fluid, contaminated fluid, air in the system, valve trouble, hose restriction, motor failure, coupler damage, cylinder bypass, or arm binding.
- The package contents include the pump pack, hoses, quick disconnects, coupler, and any hardware needed for the repair, or related parts are being ordered separately.
- The system has not been modified with non-original hydraulic components, hose routing, or pump pack hardware.
Installation and Service Notes
- Disconnect power and follow proper lockout procedures before servicing the barrier operator.
- Relieve hydraulic pressure according to the operator service procedure before removing hoses, fittings, valves, or pump pack components.
- Mark all hydraulic hoses and ports before disassembly to prevent crossed lines during installation.
- Cap or protect open hydraulic ports and hoses to keep dirt, water, and debris out of the system.
- Use only the correct fittings, seals, couplers, hoses, and hydraulic fluid for the StrongArm M30/M50 hydraulic circuit.
- Do not adjust or defeat brake valves, relief valves, flow controls, pressure controls, or hydraulic safeguards without following HySecurity service procedures.
- After installation, check for leaks, correct pump operation, smooth arm movement, controlled raising and lowering, and proper hold behavior.
- Test all required safety devices, vehicle detection, access-control inputs, arm movement, limits, and operator protections before returning the barrier to service.
Professional Advisory
The MX3614 is a hydraulic pump pack used in a heavy StrongArm M30/M50 barrier system. Service should be performed by a qualified gate technician when the repair involves hydraulic pressure, pump pack replacement, valve diagnosis, motor/coupler service, cylinder movement, pressure behavior, heavy barrier arm movement, or unknown prior modifications.
Do not bypass hydraulic controls, relief valves, brake valves, flow controls, controller protections, vehicle detection, safety devices, disconnects, or barrier safeguards to keep the system operating. If the barrier arm lowers unpredictably, will not hold position, binds, leaks, or cannot be controlled safely, the system should be inspected before continued use.
Product Questions & Answers
