AES OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US, 1 button Opyn Pro IP Video Callbox Powder Coat Pedestal with Keypad and Prox 125k Reader includes built-in 4G Cellular Router. (Horizontal Surface Mount)
The AES OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US is a 1-button Opyn Pro 4G video callbox with keypad, built-in 125 kHz proximity reader, built-in 4G cellular router, and powder-coated pedestal configuration. It is designed for properties that need a professional video entry station with visitor calling, app-based access control, keypad entry, proximity credential access, and cellular connectivity where a hardwired internet path may not be preferred or available.
This model is the powder-coated pedestal-mounted version in the Opyn Pro 4G range. It should be matched to installations where the entry station will be installed in a pedestal-style configuration for vehicle gate, driveway, commercial entry, residential entry, or managed access use.
This is the complete Opyn Pro 4G callbox model identified by part number OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US. It should not be confused with shell-only replacement parts, indoor OPYN monitors, OPYN Multi systems, separate router accessories, replacement PCBs, power supplies, credentials, or mounting accessories sold separately.

- Gate, door, or lock release applications where relay wiring is properly designed and confirmed
Important Compatibility Warning
Do not order this model by appearance alone. Opyn Pro models vary by network type, mounting style, shell configuration, finish, region, keypad/prox configuration, and accessory package. The OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US should be matched by exact part number, powder-coated pedestal requirement, 4G requirement, and installed system design.
- Confirm the exact part number is OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US.
- Confirm the project requires the 4G version, not the IP-only version.
- Confirm the project requires the powder-coated PBK pedestal version.
- Confirm the project does not require the stainless steel PSK pedestal version.
- Confirm the project does not require a flush-mount FBK version.
- Confirm the supplied title's "Horizontal Surface Mount" wording does not conflict with the required pedestal configuration.
- Confirm cellular signal strength at the final mounting location.
- Confirm SIM, data plan, carrier, router, and service requirements before installation.
- Confirm the required credential technology is 125 kHz proximity.
- Confirm the power method, relay wiring, gate operator input, door hardware, and fail-safe or fail-secure behavior.
- Confirm this is not being ordered instead of a shell assembly, replacement board, monitor, router accessory, power supply, or OPYN Multi system.

Technician Note
The most important field checks for this model are mounting style, finish, and cellular service. OPYN-PRO-4G-PBK-US should be treated as the powder-coated pedestal-mounted 4G version. If the site needs a stainless steel pedestal unit, verify OPYN-PRO-4G-PSK-US instead. If the site needs a flush-mount unit, verify OPYN-PRO-4G-FBK-US instead.
A 4G Opyn Pro installation depends on a usable cellular signal at the final mounted location. A strong signal during a quick phone test does not always mean the callbox router will have reliable service once mounted near masonry columns, metal gates, stucco walls, steel framing, or enclosed entry structures.

- Confirm the pedestal mounting location, height, approach angle, vehicle reach, pedestrian reach, conduit path, and service clearance before drilling or pouring concrete.
- Confirm power method and voltage before connecting the unit.
- Use proper sealing, weather protection, conduit, surge protection, and cable strain relief for outdoor installations.
- Keep low-voltage communication and relay wiring separated from high-voltage gate operator wiring where practical.
- Use full copper Ethernet cable for network and PoE connections where required.
- Confirm the 4G router, SIM/data service, antenna arrangement, and app connection are active before turnover.
- Program keypad codes, prox credentials, app users, and access permissions only through authorized administrative access.
- Test calling, video, audio, keypad entry, prox credential access, relay output, app notifications, and any voice integration features used on the site.
- Confirm that emergency access, fire access, monitored photo eyes, safety edges, loop functions, and operator safety inputs still work after the system is connected.
Professional Advisory
Opyn Pro installation, 4G cellular setup, app configuration, credential enrollment, relay wiring, gate operator integration, and low-voltage troubleshooting should be handled by a qualified gate access, low-voltage, network, or access control technician. Do not use Opyn Pro programming, relay wiring, credential setup, keypad access, app control, or voice integration to bypass monitored photo eyes, safety edges, emergency access equipment, fire access equipment, authorized access rules, or gate operator safety circuits.
