AES OPYN-PRO-IP-FBK-US, 1 button Opyn Pro IP Powder Coat Modular Pedestal Callbox with Keypad and Prox 125k Reader. (Flush Mount) [MADE TO ORDER]
The AES OPYN-PRO-IP-FBK-US is a made-to-order 1-button Opyn Pro IP video callbox with keypad, built-in 125 kHz proximity reader, powder-coated finish, and flush-mount configuration. It is designed for properties that need a professional video entry station with visitor calling, app-based access control, keypad entry, proximity credential access, and IP/LAN or Wi-Fi connectivity.

Technician Note
The two most important field checks for this model are mounting style and network path. OPYN-PRO-IP-FBK-US should be treated as the flush-mount IP version. If the site needs a 4G cellular flush-mount unit, verify OPYN-PRO-4G-FBK-US instead. If the site needs a pedestal-mount unit, verify the PBK or PSK versions instead.
Flush-mount planning should be completed before the wall, column, or entry structure is cut. Confirm backbox depth, cable entry, service clearance, weather sealing, drainage, hinge/key access, wall material, and future service access. Also confirm the title wording because "Modular Pedestal" and "Flush Mount" can create confusion when selecting OPYN-PRO models.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- Confirm the exact part number is OPYN-PRO-IP-FBK-US.
- Confirm this is the made-to-order configuration needed for the project.

- Confirm whether LAN, Wi-Fi, or another approved network method will be used as the primary connection method.
- Confirm power supply, 24V DC / 48V PoE requirements, surge protection, and cable routing.
- Confirm relay wiring, gate operator input type, door hardware requirements, and fail-safe or fail-secure behavior.
- Confirm 125 kHz credential requirements before ordering prox cards or prox tags.
- Confirm app setup, administrator access, user management, keypad code setup, and credential enrollment requirements.
- Confirm local code, fire access, emergency access, and UL 325 gate safety requirements before connecting to an automated gate.
Installation and Service Notes
- Confirm the network path at the final mounted location before installation.
- Plan the flush-mount cutout and backbox position before cutting the wall, column, or entry structure.
- Confirm power method and voltage before connecting the unit.
- Use proper sealing, weather protection, conduit, surge protection, and cable strain relief for outdoor installations.
- Keep low-voltage communication and relay wiring separated from high-voltage gate operator wiring where practical.
- Use full copper Ethernet cable for network and PoE connections where required.
- Confirm LAN, Wi-Fi, app connection, IP settings, and router/firewall settings before final turnover.
- Program keypad codes, prox credentials, app users, and access permissions only through authorized administrative access.
- Test calling, video, audio, keypad entry, prox credential access, relay output, app notifications, and any voice integration features used on the site.
- Confirm that emergency access, fire access, monitored photo eyes, safety edges, loop functions, and operator safety inputs still work after the system is connected.
Professional Advisory
Opyn Pro installation, IP network setup, app configuration, credential enrollment, relay wiring, gate operator integration, and low-voltage troubleshooting should be handled by a qualified gate access, low-voltage, network, or access control technician. Do not use Opyn Pro programming, relay wiring, credential setup, keypad access, app control, or voice integration to bypass monitored photo eyes, safety edges, emergency access equipment, fire access equipment, authorized access rules, or gate operator safety circuits.
