HySecurity MX002467, EYEBOLT, REPLACEMENT,NORD-LOCK
HySecurity MX002467 is a cylinder anchor eyebolt hardware assembly for select HySecurity StrongArm barrier gate operator applications. HySecurity parts documentation lists MX002467 as "Eyebolt, Nut and Nord-Lock, Cylinder Anchor" for StrongArm models manufactured after 3/25/2011.
Current listings describe this part as a 1 inch cylinder anchor adjustment part that includes the eyebolt, 2 nuts, and 2 Nord-Lock washers. Because this hardware anchors and adjusts the hydraulic cylinder mount, it should be matched carefully by operator model, manufacture date, cylinder anchor arrangement, and parts diagram.
What This Cylinder Anchor Eyebolt Does
The MX002467 eyebolt assembly anchors and adjusts the hydraulic cylinder at the approved mount location on select StrongArm operators. The eyebolt, nuts, and Nord-Lock washers work together to provide the correct mechanical connection and locking hardware for the cylinder anchor point where HySecurity specifies this part.
A worn, bent, loose, missing, cross-threaded, or incorrect cylinder anchor eyebolt can affect cylinder alignment, arm movement, hardware retention, and hydraulic drive performance. Similar symptoms can also be caused by worn cylinder pins, loose crankshaft hardware, damaged cylinder rod ends, worn bearings, loose yokes, damaged arm brackets, incorrect arm balance, or prior non-factory repairs.
Compatible With
Use HySecurity MX002467 only where the operator parts diagram, original cylinder anchor hardware, or HySecurity documentation confirms this part number.
- Select HySecurity StrongArm barrier gate operator applications where MX002467 is listed as the cylinder anchor eyebolt, nut and Nord-Lock assembly.
- HySecurity StrongArm models manufactured after 3/25/2011 where the parts diagram lists MX002467.
- StrongArm cylinder anchor repairs where the original hardware is marked, listed, or cross-referenced as HySecurity MX002467.
- Applications where the 1 inch cylinder anchor hardware, eyebolt, nuts, Nord-Lock washers, and mount arrangement match the HySecurity parts diagram.
- Repairs where diagnosis confirms the cylinder anchor eyebolt hardware is worn, damaged, loose, or no longer serviceable.
Important Compatibility Warning
Do not order MX002467 based only on the word "eyebolt." This is a cylinder anchor hardware assembly with Nord-Lock washers for specific StrongArm applications. It should not be replaced with a generic eyebolt, ordinary flat washers, split lock washers, or random hardware-store fasteners.
The manufacture date matters. HySecurity parts documentation lists MX002467 for StrongArm models manufactured after 3/25/2011. Earlier StrongArm units may use different cylinder anchor hardware, so confirm the serial number and parts diagram before ordering.

Related Parts and Accessories
The correct related parts depend on the installed StrongArm model, cylinder mounting arrangement, and cause of the original hardware issue. Inspect the full cylinder anchor and arm-drive area before ordering only this eyebolt assembly.
- MX000077 cylinder assembly - related hydraulic cylinder, not the eyebolt hardware.
- MX000312 cylinder pin - related linkage hardware, not the cylinder anchor eyebolt.
- MX001100 crankshaft with bearing, zerk and keys - related arm-drive part, not the cylinder anchor hardware.
- MX000306 4-bolt crankshaft bearing - related bearing support part, not the eyebolt hardware.
- Hydraulic hose kits and fittings - inspect for leaks, restrictions, and damage during cylinder anchor service.
- Yoke, counterweight, and arm mounting hardware - inspect if the arm is binding, sagging, or out of balance.
Technician Note
Before replacing MX002467, inspect the cylinder anchor area carefully. Look for bent or stretched hardware, damaged threads, loose nuts, missing Nord-Lock washers, wallowed mounting holes, misaligned cylinder hardware, worn cylinder pins, damaged cylinder rod ends, and signs of arm impact or overload.
Do not replace the Nord-Lock washer set with standard washers unless HySecurity documentation confirms the substitution. The locking washer arrangement is part of the specified cylinder anchor hardware and helps maintain clamping under vibration and load.

- The cylinder anchor mount and surrounding bracket hardware are not bent, cracked, stripped, or wallowed out.
- The hydraulic cylinder, pins, rod end, hoses, fittings, crankshaft hardware, and arm balance have been inspected.
- The package includes the expected eyebolt, 2 nuts and 2 Nord-Lock washers.
- The operator has not been modified with non-standard cylinder anchor hardware.
Installation and Service Notes
- Secure the barrier arm before servicing cylinder anchor hardware.
- Do not work under an unsupported arm or counterweight-loaded arm assembly.
- Disconnect and secure operator power before working near moving mechanical parts.
- Relieve hydraulic load according to the manufacturer's service procedure before adjusting cylinder anchor hardware.
- Use the correct eyebolt, nuts and Nord-Lock washers specified for the cylinder anchor.
- Do not substitute generic hardware or omit locking washers from the assembly.
- After service, verify smooth arm travel, correct cylinder alignment, secure hardware, proper limit operation, and all required safety devices.
Professional Advisory
StrongArm cylinder anchor repairs should be handled by a qualified gate technician when the repair involves hydraulic pressure, heavy barrier arms, counterweights, cylinder alignment, anchor adjustment, damaged threads, arm balance, or unknown prior modifications. Do not bypass limit controls, stop circuits, kill switches, hydraulic protections, controller protections, access control safety inputs, or any required safety devices to keep the operator running.
Product Questions & Answers
What is HySecurity MX002467?
HySecurity MX002467 is an eyebolt, nut and Nord-Lock washer assembly used as cylinder anchor hardware for select HySecurity StrongArm barrier gate operators.
What operators use MX002467?
HySecurity parts documentation lists MX002467 for StrongArm models manufactured after 3/25/2011. Use it only where the operator parts diagram confirms this cylinder anchor hardware.
