HySecurity MX3058, PIN, YOKE, HG
The HySecurity MX3058 is a replacement cylinder yoke pin for select HySecurity and Nice HySecurity HydraSwing hydraulic swing gate operator assemblies. It is commonly listed as PIN, YOKE, HG and PIN, CYLINDER YOKE, HYDRASWING.
This pin is used in the mechanical actuator/yoke connection area of compatible HydraSwing operators. In a hydraulic swing gate system, the cylinder extends and retracts to move the gate, while the yoke pin helps secure the cylinder connection point to the actuator or mounting linkage. A properly fitted pin helps maintain alignment and allows the actuator assembly to move without excessive looseness, binding, or side loading.
Current listings commonly identify MX3058 as a cylinder yoke pin for HydraSwing operators. Because HydraSwing actuator hardware is model-specific and geometry-sensitive, this pin should be selected by HySecurity part number, operator model, actuator assembly, pin location, and parts diagram before ordering.
What This Yoke Pin Does
The MX3058 yoke pin secures the cylinder/yoke connection in compatible HydraSwing actuator assemblies. It helps hold the hydraulic cylinder connection point in the correct position while allowing the actuator linkage to move through the designed swing range.
If the yoke pin is worn, bent, loose, seized, corroded, or installed with worn surrounding hardware, the gate may move unevenly, bind, chatter, drift, make noise, or put extra stress on the hydraulic cylinder and brake manifold. Similar symptoms can also be caused by worn bearings, damaged bushings, bent brackets, loose mounting hardware, cylinder wear, brake manifold problems, hose issues, poor hinge alignment, or a gate that is sagging or binding.
Compatible With
The HySecurity MX3058 is intended for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity HydraSwing hydraulic swing gate operator applications where this cylinder yoke pin is specified. Compatibility depends on the operator model, actuator version, yoke assembly, pin location, mounting hardware, gate geometry, and current HySecurity parts documentation.
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing operator actuator assemblies where the parts diagram lists MX3058
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 40 actuator assemblies where the yoke pin location calls for MX3058
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 40F actuator assemblies where the yoke pin location calls for MX3058
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 40 Twin actuator assemblies where the yoke pin location calls for MX3058
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 80F and HydraSwing 150 actuator assemblies where the parts diagram confirms MX3058
- HydraSwing cylinder/yoke repairs where the original pin is marked, listed, or cross-referenced as MX3058
Do not assume MX3058 fits every HySecurity HydraLift, SlideDriver, SlideSmart, SwingSmart, StrongArm, HydraWedge, Smart DC, Smart Touch, or SmartCNX operator. Pins that look similar may have different diameter, length, retaining method, material, wear surface, or application location.
MX3058 vs. Similar Pins, Bearings, and Hardware
HySecurity hydraulic operators use several pins, bearings, bushings, brackets, and actuator hardware parts. MX3058 should not be substituted unless the parts diagram confirms the same pin.
- MX3058: Cylinder yoke pin / yoke pin for select HydraSwing actuator assemblies.
- MX000770: Tapped 1.25-inch bearing used in select HydraSwing actuator assemblies, not the same part.
- MX3546: Position sensing cylinder kit for select HydraSwing 40 / 40F / 40 Twin primary applications, not the same part.
- MX3547: Cylinder kit without sensor for select HydraSwing 40 / 40F Twin secondary applications, not the same part.
- Generic clevis pins: May not match the correct length, diameter, retaining method, hardness, or fit.
- Yoke, bracket, or cylinder-end hardware: Related mechanical parts, but not the same as the pin unless specifically included in a kit.
The pin, yoke, cylinder eye, retaining hardware, and nearby bearing or bushing surfaces should be checked together. Replacing the pin alone may not correct looseness if the yoke hole or cylinder eye is worn.
Related HydraSwing Actuator Parts
HydraSwing yoke pin replacement often involves nearby actuator and hydraulic components. Check the complete assembly before deciding whether the pin is the only part needed.

Common Symptoms of a Worn Yoke Pin
- Excessive play at the cylinder/yoke connection
- Clunking, knocking, or shifting when the gate starts or stops
- Uneven actuator movement
- Visible wear marks, grooves, rust, or deformation on the pin
- Elongated yoke or cylinder-end holes
- Gate drift, chatter, or poor stopping caused by mechanical looseness
- Repeated wear on nearby bearings, bushings, or cylinder hardware
These symptoms should be diagnosed carefully. A loose or noisy actuator can also be caused by worn hinges, poor gate geometry, loose brackets, damaged bearings, hydraulic cylinder wear, brake manifold issues, hose movement, or an overloaded gate.
Not Intended For
- Universal clevis pin replacement
- Replacing tapped bearings, bushings, hydraulic cylinders, brake manifolds, hose kits, or actuator brackets unless those parts are ordered separately
- Installing into a worn yoke or cylinder eye without correcting the worn mating part
- Correcting poor gate movement caused by sagging hinges, bent brackets, bad geometry, actuator misalignment, low hydraulic fluid, or gate binding without diagnosis
- Replacing pins in non-HydraSwing operators unless the parts diagram specifically lists MX3058
- Use where the pin diameter, length, retaining method, or fit does not match the original part
Important Compatibility Warning
MX3058 should be selected by HySecurity part number and actuator parts diagram. A pin that appears close in size may not be correct if the diameter, length, retaining method, material, or wear surface differs from the original.
If the original yoke pin failed, inspect the yoke, cylinder eye, actuator bracket, retaining hardware, bearing surfaces, and gate geometry before installing the replacement. A new pin can wear quickly if the mating holes are already elongated or if the gate is side-loading the actuator.

Technician Note
Before replacing MX3058, inspect the yoke hole, cylinder eye, retaining hardware, actuator bracket, and surrounding wear surfaces. If the pin has been loose for a long time, the mating holes may be elongated. Installing a new pin into a worn yoke can leave the actuator loose and may cause another failure.
A worn yoke pin is often a symptom of a larger alignment or load issue. Check gate hinges, actuator geometry, cylinder alignment, bearing condition, bracket condition, and gate movement before returning the operator to service.

- Confirm whether retaining clips, washers, bushings, grease, hardware, or instructions are included or must be ordered separately.
Installation and Service Notes
Disable the operator and secure the gate before servicing actuator or yoke hardware. Hydraulic swing gate actuators can hold load and may move unexpectedly if the gate, hydraulic system, or mechanical linkage is not properly secured.
Compare the replacement pin to the original before installation, including diameter, length, wear surface, and retaining method. After installation, confirm the pin is retained correctly, the actuator moves smoothly, the yoke does not bind, and the gate travels through the full range without side-loading the cylinder.
Professional Advisory
Yoke pin replacement on a hydraulic swing gate operator can involve heavy gate movement, pinch points, actuator load, hydraulic force, and alignment issues. A qualified HySecurity gate technician should handle the repair if the gate is heavy, the actuator is under load, the yoke is worn, the pin is seized, or the cause of pin wear is unclear.
Do not bypass covers, guards, limits, monitored entrapment protection, photo eyes, safety edges, hydraulic controls, or disconnects to make the gate run. The mechanical assembly and safety devices should be inspected and tested before the operator is returned to service.
