HySecurity MX3261-02, MANIFOLD, BRAKE, HCS 40, LEFT
The HySecurity MX3261-02 is a left-hand brake manifold assembly for select HySecurity and Nice HySecurity HydraSwing hydraulic swing gate operators. It is commonly listed as MANIFOLD, BRAKE, HCS 40, LEFT and as a Brake Manifold Assembly HydraSwing 40/40F/40 Twin LH.
The brake manifold is part of the hydraulic control system used to manage gate movement and stopping behavior in compatible HydraSwing actuator assemblies. In the correct HydraSwing application, the brake manifold works with the hydraulic cylinder, hose kit, brake valve, fittings, seals, pump pack, actuator hardware, and controller logic to help control movement under hydraulic load.
Current listings commonly describe MX3261-02 as including valves, fittings, and seals. HySecurity HydraSwing 40/40F actuator parts documentation lists MX3261-02 as the left-hand brake manifold assembly for HydraSwing 40 / 40F / 40 Twin applications and lists MX3261-01 separately as the right-hand brake manifold assembly. Because brake manifold orientation matters, this part should be selected by HySecurity part number, actuator hand, and parts diagram before ordering.
What This Brake Manifold Does
The MX3261-02 brake manifold assembly helps control hydraulic braking and movement behavior on compatible left-hand HydraSwing 40-series actuator assemblies. It is part of the hydraulic circuit that helps the actuator manage gate load, stopping, holding, and controlled movement depending on the operator configuration.
If the brake manifold, valve, fittings, or seals are leaking, contaminated, sticking, damaged, or installed on the wrong side, the gate may drift, move unevenly, stop poorly, chatter, bind, leak hydraulic fluid, or fail to hold position correctly. Similar symptoms can also be caused by worn cylinder seals, hose leaks, damaged pins, bad bearings, poor hinge alignment, low fluid, pump pack problems, valve adjustment issues, or a gate that is sagging or binding.
Compatible With
The HySecurity MX3261-02 is intended for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity HydraSwing hydraulic swing gate operator applications where this left-hand brake manifold assembly is specified. Compatibility depends on the operator model, actuator hand, hydraulic cylinder assembly, hose routing, valve layout, fitting style, and current HySecurity parts documentation.
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 40 left-hand actuator applications where the parts diagram lists MX3261-02
- Select HySecurity HydraSwing 40F left-hand actuator applications where the parts diagram lists MX3261-02

Do not assume MX3261-02 fits every HydraSwing, HydraLift, SlideDriver, SlideSmart, SwingSmart, StrongArm, HydraWedge, Smart DC, Smart Touch, or SmartCNX operator. Brake manifolds are model-specific and orientation-specific.
MX3261-02 vs. Related Brake Manifold Parts
HySecurity uses different brake manifold assemblies depending on operator model and actuator hand. MX3261-02 should not be treated as interchangeable with the right-hand version or with SlideDriver brake manifold parts.
- MX3261-02: Left-hand brake manifold assembly for select HydraSwing 40 / 40F / 40 Twin applications.
- MX3261-01: Right-hand brake manifold assembly for select HydraSwing 40 / 40F / 40 Twin applications, not the same part.
- MX3317-02: Left-hand brake manifold assembly for select HydraSwing 80F / 150 applications, not the same part.
- MX3317-01: Right-hand brake manifold assembly for select HydraSwing 80F / 150 applications, not the same part.
- MX000137: SlideDriver 30F / 40 brake kit, not the same part.
- MX000143: SlideDriver braking manifold / brake kit for select SlideDriver 50VF2/3, 80, and 200 applications, not the same part.
- MX000234: Related HydraSwing brake valve reference, not the full brake manifold assembly.
The left-hand and right-hand HydraSwing brake manifolds should be matched by the actuator layout and parts diagram. A manifold that looks similar may have different port orientation, hose routing, valve placement, fitting arrangement, or mounting layout.
Left-Hand Orientation Warning
MX3261-02 is the left-hand brake manifold assembly. Confirm the actuator hand before ordering. On dual or twin swing gate systems, left-hand and right-hand references can be easy to confuse, especially if you are looking at the gate from the wrong side or if the operator has been previously serviced.
When in doubt, compare the installed manifold, hose routing, port positions, valve orientation, and HySecurity actuator diagram. Do not order the left-hand manifold to replace a right-hand assembly unless HySecurity documentation specifically confirms the match.
Related HydraSwing 40 / 40F Actuator Parts
HydraSwing brake manifold repairs often involve nearby hydraulic and mechanical parts. Check the complete actuator assembly before deciding whether the brake manifold is the only part needed.

- Correcting gate drift or poor stopping caused by gate hinge problems, hydraulic cylinder wear, hose leaks, low fluid, bad actuator alignment, or mechanical binding without diagnosis
- Opening or removing hydraulic components from a pressurized circuit
Important Compatibility Warning
MX3261-02 should be selected by HySecurity part number, operator model, actuator hand, and hydraulic diagram. A brake manifold with the wrong hand or port orientation may not connect correctly and may cause hydraulic control problems.
If the brake manifold failed because of contaminated hydraulic fluid, water intrusion, damaged fittings, bad hose routing, cylinder seal failure, or mechanical side-loading, replacing only the manifold may not correct the root issue. Inspect the actuator, hoses, cylinder, pins, bearing, gate hinges, and hydraulic fluid before returning the operator to service.

Technician Note
Before replacing the brake manifold, verify whether the issue is actually in the manifold assembly. Gate drift, poor stopping, uneven movement, and hydraulic leakage can also come from the hydraulic cylinder, brake valve, hose kit, fittings, low fluid, contaminated fluid, worn pins, bad bearings, poor hinge alignment, or a gate that is binding.
Pay close attention to left-hand versus right-hand orientation. MX3261-02 is the left-hand brake manifold. The related right-hand version is MX3261-01. Hose routing, port layout, and valve placement must match the installed actuator assembly.

Installation and Service Notes
Hydraulic brake manifold service should be performed with the operator disabled, the gate secured, and the hydraulic circuit handled according to the current HySecurity service procedure. Do not remove hydraulic valves, hoses, or fittings from a pressurized circuit.
Keep the manifold ports, fittings, and hose ends clean during service. Dirt or metal particles inside the hydraulic circuit can damage valves, seals, cylinders, pump components, and fittings. After installation, check hydraulic fluid level, inspect for leaks, verify smooth actuator movement, confirm proper stopping/holding behavior, and test all monitored safety devices before returning the gate to service.
Professional Advisory
Brake manifold replacement can affect hydraulic braking, stopping, and holding behavior on a heavy swing gate. A qualified HySecurity gate technician should handle this repair if the operator has repeated hydraulic leaks, unknown prior repairs, contaminated fluid, gate drift, poor stopping, or unclear left/right actuator orientation.
Do not bypass covers, guards, limits, monitored entrapment protection, photo eyes, safety edges, hydraulic controls, disconnects, or controller protections to make the gate run. The hydraulic system, mechanical assembly, and safety devices should be repaired correctly and fully tested before the operator is returned to service.
