HySecurity MX5861, XTREMEDRIVE WHEEL KIT, RPLCMT, 6 INCH W/LUG NUTS, 10 PK
The HySecurity MX5861 is a 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel replacement kit with lug nuts for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity SlideDriver gate operators. This kit is supplied as a 10 pack and is intended for service work where multiple 6 inch XtremeDrive wheels are being replaced or kept in stock for maintenance.
The XtremeDrive wheel is part of the SlideDriver operator drive system. It makes contact with the drive rail and transfers the operator's drive force to the moving gate. Because HySecurity SlideDriver models may use different wheel diameters, drive wheel styles, hub assemblies, and hardware, this kit should be matched to the existing operator and current parts diagram before ordering.
What This XtremeDrive Wheel Kit Does
The drive wheel is one of the main wear points in a SlideDriver XtremeDrive system. When the wheel is in good condition and properly matched to the rail, the operator can move the gate smoothly with consistent traction. A worn, glazed, damaged, or incorrect wheel can cause slipping, rough movement, nuisance faults, uneven operation, or premature wear on related drive components.
The MX5861 kit provides multiple 6 inch XtremeDrive replacement wheels with lug nuts. It is useful for maintenance departments, gate service companies, commercial facilities, industrial sites, and multi-operator properties where several compatible 6 inch XtremeDrive wheels may need replacement.
Compatible With
This kit may be used with the following applications where the operator parts diagram confirms fitment:
- Select HySecurity SlideDriver operator models equipped with 6 inch XtremeDrive wheels
- SlideDriver applications where the current parts diagram lists a 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel replacement
- Repairs where the original drive wheel is confirmed as a 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel
- Service work where the existing wheel hub is reusable and only the wheel and lug nuts are being replaced
- Commercial and industrial slide gate sites using compatible 6 inch XtremeDrive drive assemblies
Important: Do not assume this kit fits every HySecurity SlideDriver operator. Some units use 8 inch XtremeDrive wheels, AdvanceDrive wheels, older wheel-and-hub assemblies, or different drive configurations. Confirm the model, serial number, wheel diameter, hub style, and parts diagram before ordering.
Similar Parts That Are Not Interchangeable
HySecurity drive wheels can look similar, but wheel diameter and drive system style matter. A 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel should not be replaced with an 8 inch wheel, an AdvanceDrive wheel, or a wheel-and-hub kit unless the current HySecurity parts diagram confirms the correct part for that operator.

| MX4993 | XtremeDrive lug nuts only | Lug nuts only; does not include replacement wheels |
Not Intended For
- SlideDriver operators using 8 inch XtremeDrive wheels
- SlideDriver operators using AdvanceDrive wheels unless the current parts diagram confirms compatibility
- Applications that require a complete wheel-and-hub kit instead of a wheel-only replacement
- Operators with worn, damaged, loose, or incorrect wheel hubs that must be replaced
- Swing gate, barrier arm, wedge, bollard, or non-SlideDriver operator applications
- General-purpose wheel replacement outside the listed HySecurity XtremeDrive system
Important Compatibility Warning
The MX5861 kit is for 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel replacement. Do not order this kit based only on the HySecurity brand or a quick visual guess. HySecurity SlideDriver operators may use different drive wheel sizes and different drive wheel systems depending on model, configuration, and production generation.
If the existing hub is worn, loose, damaged, or part of a drive assembly that requires updating, a wheel-only replacement kit may not solve the problem. Check the hub, lug hardware, shaft, key, drive wheel style, and current HySecurity parts diagram before deciding whether MX5861 is the right kit.

Technician Note
When a 6 inch XtremeDrive wheel is worn out, check more than just the wheel. Fast wheel wear can come from gate drag, rail contamination, a damaged XtremeDrive rack, poor operator alignment, loose hub hardware, incorrect wheel pressure, hydraulic drive problems, or a gate that does not roll freely.
Also confirm the existing wheel diameter before ordering. The 6 inch and 8 inch XtremeDrive wheels are not interchangeable. If the wheel hub is worn or damaged, a wheel-only replacement may not hold correctly or may wear out again quickly.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- The original or required part number is MX5861.
- The operator uses 6 inch XtremeDrive wheels.
- The operator model and serial number match a HySecurity parts diagram that supports this wheel kit.
- The existing wheels are not 8 inch XtremeDrive wheels.
- The operator does not require an AdvanceDrive wheel kit instead.
- The existing wheel hubs are reusable and do not need to be replaced.
- The repair requires a 10 pack quantity.
- The included lug nuts match the current wheel and hub setup.
- The rail or XtremeDrive rack is clean, straight, and not causing premature wheel wear.
- The gate moves freely and is not binding before blaming the drive wheel alone.
Installation and Service Notes
- Disconnect power and follow proper lockout procedures before servicing the operator.
- Secure the gate before working near drive wheels, rails, racks, or moving operator components.
- Inspect the wheel hub, shaft, key, clamping hardware, and lug nut seating before installing new wheels.
- Use the current HySecurity service instructions for torque values and hardware setup.
- Replace damaged lug nuts instead of reusing rounded, cross-threaded, or worn hardware.
- After replacement, check wheel-to-rack contact, gate travel, drive performance, and safety device operation.
- Do not try to solve worn wheel problems by over-adjusting the drive system without correcting the root cause.
Professional Advisory
Drive wheel replacement on a heavy slide gate operator should be handled with care. If the repair involves hydraulic drive pressure, heavy gate movement, worn rail or rack sections, wheel hub removal, shaft hardware, gate alignment, or a gate that is unsafe to move, service should be performed by a qualified gate technician.
Do not bypass safety devices, covers, guards, controller protections, limits, or operator interlocks to test the gate. A slipping or binding slide gate can become a serious hazard if the drive system is forced to run without correcting the mechanical problem.
