AES ETRANS200, eLoop Transceiver - 2x Relay Output N/O + N/C - LCD Display
The AES ETRANS200 is an LCD transceiver for select AES e-Loop, e-Trans, wireless keypad, remote transmitter, and access control applications. It is used as the receiving and relay-output side of a compatible AES wireless system.
In a properly configured installation, the ETRANS200 can receive signals from compatible AES remotes, e-Loops, wireless keypads, and entry buttons, then activate one of its relay outputs for the approved gate operator, door controller, or access control input.
This is the transceiver-only product. It should not be confused with complete transmitter kits, keypad kits, long-range kits, e-Loop detector kits, antenna kits, or complete gate access systems. Order by exact AES part number, relay requirements, input voltage, supported device count, and system compatibility.
What This LCD Transceiver Does
The ETRANS200 provides LCD menu-based receiver and transceiver functions for compatible AES wireless devices. It can store supported transmitters and devices, manage relay behavior, provide relay output control, and allow certain e-Loop settings or diagnostics where supported by the connected AES equipment.
The ETRANS200 is commonly used where the installer needs more capacity and menu control than a smaller transceiver. It is often selected for applications requiring 200 remote storage, multiple AES wireless device types, two relay outputs, menu-based setup, lock-out functions, or e-Loop configuration access.
This transceiver does not move a gate or door by itself. Final operation depends on proper power, compatible AES wireless devices, relay wiring, antenna placement, receiver programming, gate operator input setup, access control wiring, and required safety devices.
Compatible With
Use the AES ETRANS200 only where AES documentation, the system design, product label, or supplier cross-reference confirms compatibility. Compatibility depends on the AES wireless platform, device type, frequency, relay requirement, antenna setup, firmware or generation, and controlled equipment.

Important Compatibility Warning
The AES ETRANS200 is not the same as ETRANS50 or ETRANS100. The ETRANS50 is commonly used for single-relay applications, the ETRANS100 is commonly used for two-channel applications, and the ETRANS200 is the LCD transceiver with higher device storage and menu-based functions.
Relay terminal descriptions should be verified before wiring. Some AES documentation lists the ETRANS200 relay outputs as COM and N/O connections x 2 relays, while some product descriptions mention N/O + N/C outputs. Always check the physical terminal markings, product label, and current AES manual before connecting the relay to a gate operator, door controller, lock interface, or access control input.
Do not use the relay output to switch high-voltage loads directly. The relay should be connected only to an approved low-voltage control input or approved interface device. Never bypass monitored safety devices, photo eyes, safety edges, fire access wiring, stop circuits, or gate operator entrapment protection to make the transceiver activate equipment.

Technician Note
If an ETRANS200 system is not activating the gate, troubleshoot both the wireless side and the relay-output side. Check transmitter or keypad programming, device memory, antenna connection, receiver power, relay mode, relay output wiring, access control input, gate operator input settings, and the operator status before replacing the transceiver.
If the ETRANS200 display shows the device has been accepted but the gate does not move, the transceiver may not be the problem. Check relay assignment, relay mode, pulse time, wiring to the operator, stop circuit, safety circuit, fire access input, and operator programming.
If range is poor, inspect antenna placement before replacing electronics. Metal cabinets, low antenna mounting, poor line of sight, damaged coax, weak transmitter batteries, nearby radio noise, and incorrect antenna selection can make a working transceiver appear unreliable.
