AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT, eLoop Remote Kit w/eTrans50 Transceiver - 1x Relay Output N/O Only - 4x Remotes
The AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT is a standard-range e-Loop remote kit for select AES wireless gate access and access control applications. It is commonly used where authorized users need handheld remote control using AES E-TX transmitter fobs and an ETRANS50 receiving transceiver.
In a proper installation, the E-TX fobs are programmed into the ETRANS50 transceiver. When an authorized remote button is pressed, the ETRANS50 provides one normally open relay output that can be wired to an approved low-voltage input on a gate operator, door controller, or access control device.
This kit should be ordered by exact part number, included components, relay requirement, wireless range requirement, and controlled equipment type. Do not choose this kit only because a site needs remotes. The transceiver model, antenna package, relay count, voltage input, receiver memory, and site conditions all need to match the job.
What This Remote Kit Does
The ETRANS50-TX-KIT provides a wireless remote-control setup for compatible AES gate and access control applications. The included E-TX fobs act as handheld transmitters, and the ETRANS50 transceiver acts as the receiving and relay-output side of the system.
The ETRANS50 is commonly used for single-relay applications. It provides one relay output with COM and N/O connections where supported by the installed transceiver. That relay output can be used with an approved open, radio, push-button, free-exit, or access control input, depending on the gate operator or access control equipment.
This kit does not make the gate safe by itself. Gate movement still depends on the gate operator, monitored photo eyes, safety edges, entrapment protection, access control wiring, emergency access equipment, and proper field testing.
Compatible With
Use the AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT only where the AES documentation, site design, operator input requirements, or supplier cross-reference confirms compatibility. Compatibility depends on the 433.39 MHz AES wireless platform, ETRANS50 relay output, E-TX fob programming, antenna placement, receiver power, and the controlled equipment.
- Select AES e-Loop and e-Trans remote access applications where ETRANS50-TX-KIT is listed as the required kit
- Gate operator input applications where the ETRANS50 relay output can be wired to an approved open, radio, push-button, free-exit, or access control input
- Single-relay applications where one normally open relay output is suitable for the required gate or access command
- Installations requiring four AES E-TX handheld transmitter fobs with a compatible ETRANS50 transceiver
- Standard-range remote-control applications where site conditions support reliable AES wireless operation
- Repairs or replacements where the original kit is marked, listed, or cross-referenced as ETRANS50-TX-KIT
- Applications where the site does not require the long-range ANT-30 LR kit, ETRANS100 two-channel kit, or ETRANS200 LCD transceiver kit
Important Compatibility Warning
The AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT is the standard ETRANS50 remote kit. It should not be confused with the ETRANS50-TX-LR-KIT, which is the long-range version commonly associated with the ANT-30 antenna. The standard kit is commonly associated with the ANT-4 antenna in AES kit references, but package contents should always be verified before publishing or ordering.
The ETRANS50 is the single-relay version. If the installation needs two relay outputs, an LCD transceiver, larger programming features, or a different receiver capacity, verify whether an ETRANS100 or ETRANS200 kit is required instead.
Range is site-dependent. Standard-range kit references may list up to approximately 350 meters line of sight, but actual range can be reduced by metal gate posts, steel cabinets, concrete walls, hills, trees, nearby electronics, low receiver power, damaged antenna cable, weak fob batteries, or poor antenna placement.

Technician Note
If the AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT does not activate the gate, check the full signal path before replacing parts. Inspect the E-TX fob batteries, fob programming, ETRANS50 power, antenna connection, relay mode, relay output wiring, operator input, range, and nearby sources of interference.
If the ETRANS50 relay activates but the gate does not move, the problem is usually downstream of the wireless kit. Check the gate operator input, input programming, stop circuit, safety devices, fire access interface, and access control terminals before replacing the transceiver or fobs.
If the range is poor, verify line of sight and antenna location first. Metal enclosures, masonry walls, low antenna placement, damaged coax, weak fob batteries, or electrical noise can make a properly programmed kit appear unreliable.

- Set the relay mode only as required by the controlled equipment, such as Pulse, Latch, or Hold where supported.
- Mount the receiving equipment and antenna where the radio path is as clear as practical and wiring is protected.
- Route antenna and low-voltage wiring away from moving gate parts, sharp edges, water collection points, and high-voltage wiring.
- Test each E-TX fob from the intended operating locations before finalizing the installation.
- After setup, test fob operation, ETRANS50 relay response, gate operator input behavior, and normal gate operation.
- Do not bypass monitored gate safety inputs, photo eyes, safety edges, emergency access equipment, fire access wiring, access permissions, or required entrapment protection during testing.
Professional Advisory
A qualified gate, access control, or low-voltage technician should install or service the AES ETRANS50-TX-KIT when it is connected to a gate operator, automatic door, magnetic lock, electric strike, intercom, telephone entry system, fire access system, or monitored safety circuit. Wireless remote access should be programmed and tested carefully, and it should never be used to bypass required safety devices, access permissions, emergency access requirements, or gate operator protections.
